Hy-Boost is an on-demand enrichment system that requires no compressed Hydrogen storage, no Hydrogen refills, and no operator intervention.

Generating a slow supply, Hy-Boost is powered by the engine and only runs when the engine does, which means it is totally inactive at engine shutdown.

Optimised to generate the minimum amount required, Hy-Boost does not adversely affect engine mapping, cooling or exhaust temperatures.

Hy-Boost on-demand enrichment systems typically achieve a 100% return on investment within months of installation. This is enabled not just by fuel savings, but also a reduction in load on DPF systems, which require less downtime to clean, or cost to replace. Hy-boost technology is a proudly West Australian business, with all development, testing and manufacturing completed locally.

Based on years of research and testing, the hy-boost system* generates hydrogen ‘on demand’ at a speed and volume that differentiates us from our competitors. This produces superior fuels savings and emissions reductions.

The hy-boost system provides a cost-effective transition step for existing combustion engines.

The vision for the Hy-Boost system is to set a new benchmark in retrofit solutions for fuel efficiency and emissions. We aim to deliver a product that not only meets the current regulatory and market demands but also paves the way for future innovation in sustainable automotive technologies.

Hy-boost produces hydrogen on demand and delivers it to the combustion chamber so that it is a supplementary fuel source. This:

  • Reduces fuel consumption;
  • Burns fuel more efficiently and cleans the engine; and
  • Reduces particulate matter & emissions significantly.

Importantly:

  • Small amounts of hydrogen are combusted in the engine with no real measurable changes in engine or exhaust temperature.
  • No hydrogen is stored on-board – it is produced on-demand.

Products

Current fuel enhancement technologies are often complex, not universally applicable, and are costly to implement.

Hy-Boost Technology identified an opportunity to bridge this gap by developing an oxyhydrogen generation system that can be retrofitted to existing internal combustion engines. A solution that reduces emissions AND improves fuel efficiency.

The Hy-Boost system provides a more complete burn of traditional fuels with oxyhydrogen. This means that the engine burns cleaner; Improving fuel consumption, reduce emissions and, therefore, reducing the reliance on fossil fuels. This supports the transition to more sustainable energy sources.
